This post is exclusively a foot and ankle elective practice with busy general trauma (1:9). It is based at Darlington Memorial (DMH) and Bishop Auckland General Hospitals (BAGH). It can be suited to enthusiastic trainees of any level, but may be more suitable for junior trainees wanting a broad overview and a rewarding learning experience.

The post provides a comprehensive overview of all common foot and ankle conditions in the adult population, including complex F&A trauma referrals. We provide interactive trauma meetings and weekly x-ray meetings. You will gain excellent trauma exposure with time for audit/research/exams.
